Quick Shot: Waddesdon Manor
Welcome to England... where castles are around every corner and estate homes on every block. Ok, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but for an American living here, it certainly seems like there's no lack of interesting and historic homes to visit and photograph.
This weekend we travelled to Waddesdon Manor, which was built and maintained by the famous Rothschilds family until it was donated to the National Trust as a historic site. Today the manor house and gardens welcome thousands of visitors each year to explore famous works of art, divine wine, and incredible opulence.
Although it never rained during our visit, there was a thick and dense cloud cover over the estate for the entire day, which gave some extra drama to the photos.
