Istanbul's Beautiful Blue Mosque
Earlier today, an ISIS affiliated suicide bomber detonated an explosive in Sultanahmet Square in the heart of beautiful Istanbul, Turkey. It was just a little over a year ago when I stood in Sultanahmet Square marveling in the splendors of the city, including the Blue Mosque.
Istanbul really impressed me with the diversity of cultures that lived harmoniously in the city and today's bombing is a sobering reminder of how terrorists try to throw that harmony off balance.
Today I'm sharing an image from inside the Blue Mosque, which is one of the most beautiful sites in Istanbul as a tribute to this beautiful city and those affected by the bombing.
