ST Road Trip: Canyonlands Update
Another day, another adventure! Today's weather was forecasted to be rainy and incredibly windy, and the day lived up to both. So we swapped our plans and went to Canyonlands NP and Dead Horse State Park today and will do Arches tomorrow. The "must see" attraction in Canyonlands is Mesa Arch- one of the largest free standing stone arches in the world. I took many photos, including some panoramas showing the whole arch, but wanted to share this one. The arch frames the view below into the canyon, where buttes can be seen sticking up in the orange rock. While it doesn't convey the spectacular size of the whole arch, the natural framing made it one of my favorite images. As always, this was taken with my @leica_camera SL and 24-90mm lens.
