Quick Shot: King's College Ceiling

Historic cathedrals are known for their size, opulence, and intricate detail. The King's College in Cambridge is no different; the church on the college grounds is one of the largest in Cambridge, England and dates back to 1441. It is very humbling standing inside a church built in the 1400's and thinking about all of the things that happened after that church was constructed!

The ceiling is one of the most impressive parts of the church. It is incredibly detailed and I cannot imagine being an artisan in the 1400's given the task to construct the ceiling.

I shot this photograph looking straight up so that you could see the stained glass windows on the sides and the super detail on the ceiling. I thought it was best seen in black and white so you could really appreciate the details.
